cordless drill                    Cordless Drill

This morning I tried to use my husband’s cordless drill and it wouldn’t work. I thought for sure that I’d done something to cause it not to work, especially since I’d dropped the cordless drill when I was pulling it out of the tool box. I was worried about actually picking up the phone and calling my husband to ask him about the cordless drill. I knew that if I wanted to get the holes drilled in the wall that I would need to call him so I picked up the phone and dialed.

I explained to him that I had accidentally dropped the cordless drill when I was pulling it out of his tool box but that I didn’t think I had broken it. Now I couldn’t get it to come on. I told him I was really sorry if I’d broken it, and felt bad about it. He started laughing, almost to the point of being out of control. When he finally stopped laughing, he told me that he’d used it the week before in his shop and he’d forgotten to recharge it so if I put it on the charger for a few hours it should be fine. If I weren’t so relieved that I hadn’t broken the cordless drill, I may have actually laughed along with my husband. What a relief!
