cordless drill, aftermarket parts  Despite reactions from many of my husband's friends, he purchased a cordless drill and hand held impact drill for me as a birthday present last year.  I just loved it!  You see, I happen to be one of those women who pushes her husband out of the workshop so she can get her hands on his power tools!  I have used my cordless drill and impact drill on everything from installing a toilet paper holder to hanging a coat shelf in the mud room!  I thoroughly enjoy the satisfaction I get from having done a home repair all on my own without asking my husband for help!  I even repaired the leaky bathroom faucet using tools from my pink and yellow tool belt!

Although I enjoy a little elbow grease and getting the job done myself, there are still a few jobs I leave to my husband.  Car parts do not interest me since I have absolutely no idea what they do or where they go.  I have, however, installed a few aftermarket parts myself.  I purchased a used convertible that was in need of some tender loving care.  Once I got it all shined up, it simply begged for some aftermarket parts like bullet side mirrors, a groovy gear shift knob, and some spinning rims!
