I wish I knew who invented the cordless drill so I could send them a thank you card. After using a hand drill with an extension cord so I could reach projects I have worked on and always pulling the extension cord either out of the electrical plug in or the cord on the drill the introduction of the cordless drill many years ago was a real time and frustration saver for me. Over the years I have bought several cordless drills and I keep one in the kitchen for easy access and quick repairs. I also keep a very powerful cordless drill in my car that has an impact feature. this cordless drill can help remove lug nuts on a flat tire and also preform many other roadside tasks that would have me either walking or calling a tow truck. And best of all I can recharge this cordless drill by plugging it in to the cigarette lighter slot. I must be a tool junkie because of all the tools I own but the one I will never be without is the cordless drill.
