cordless drillCan you imagine back in the days when they didn't have cordless drills.  I'll bet handy repair men had to use plain old screwdrivers for their jobs and went home with aching wrists or maybe they were in better shape than we are today, but at any rate, cordless drills would have made their lives so much easier!

My husband is a service technician and he uses an 18 volt cordless drill on a daily basis; it would take him literally 4 times as long to do a job if he didn't own a cordless drill! 

I also use a cordless drill for drilling guitar picks, so I can hang them by a jump ring on a leather cord.   I've become so used to having it and using it for so many of my jewelry projects!  My husband even set me up a drill press in my beading room, and he installed my cordless drill in the press, so all I have to do is turn on the cordless drill and pull down the handle. 

I don't know what I would do without my cordless drill!  I used to have a corded drill and I'd end up getting my cord tangled up in my chair wheels, so I'm so happy my husband set me up with a cordless drill!
