cordless drill, car partsWhenever there is something to fix in our house, the task is mine. My husband is the brains of the family and I am Mrs. fixit. My cordless drill is my friend in all sorts of projects. I recently asked my daughter what she wanted for Christmas and lo and behold she needed her kitchen chairs recovered. That sounded like fun, so I agreed. We went out and bought the fabric and I set about my task of recovering the chairs. Of course the seats needed to be unscrewed and having a cordless drill makes that a lot easier. I must say, I did a pretty good job of spray painting all of the chairs and then attaching the new covers. Since the chairs were pretty old, the screws did not go back into the seats as well as they should have, but with the cordless drill the job was a cinch.
I am still trying to learn about how the different car parts work so that I can start doing some of my own repairs to save a little money.
