cordless drillMy husband has a good quality cordless drill which I bought him for Christmas the year before last. I would never have thought to buy him a cordless drill because to me it is the equivalent of a husband buying his wife a handheld vacuum cleaner in that it seems both stereotypical and impersonal. However my husband actually requested that I buy him a cordless drill when I asked him what he wanted and I must admit he has used it a great deal. The last time my husband used his cordless drill was two days ago. We are doing some work on our house and we had to remove a closet to put in a set of stairs. My husband’s latest project comprises building a new closet to replace the one we had to remove. My husband is very good with his hands and he has made a lot of things out of wood including a chicken coop, chests of drawers and tables. The closet he is currently making with the help of his cordless drill is just the latest of a long list of projects. What’s more I am sure there will be plenty more projects for him to do in the future, so that cordless drill I bought for him was definitely a good investment.
